BETTENSPIRALE BY REBECCA HORN
ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH · PHOTOGRAPHY BY René Staud
A spiral of interwoven beds symbolises the relationship between dream interpretation and realism. Spirituality and sensuality are fused in symbiotic union. Fragility conveys the illusion of the here and now floating in space.
REBECCA HORN was born in Michelstadt, Germany, on 24 March, 1944. She became famous through her mechanical sculptures, films and taking part at the Documenta V, VI, VII, IX. In 1992, Horn became the first woman to receive the prestigious Kaiserring Goslar. In 1993, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, organised a mid-career retrospective which travelled to Berlin, Vienna and London.
