MossLAVA, ELdHrAUn
A green net as far an eye can see. A moving, living, vivid carpet, wildly proliferate and without any human interference, which could alter the direction of growth in any specific direction. Just like a second skin, moss and lichen are nestled into the hills of Iceland, making the rocks look more organic and the sharp-edges more appealing. From dark luscious glowing green to sallow ash grey, this furry frock shimmers – beloved, protected and nourished by the Icelanders. After the photo shoot on the south coast, we moved deeper into the island’s interior and enjoyed the spectacular vista from a bird’s eye view. We chartered an airplane to cover the distances between locations. Iceland is most beautiful when viewed from above – an impressive, magnificent painting in green and blue, black and white.
