GLAcIEr, VATnAjökULL
The Vatnajökull is not only an active volcano but also a glacier territory. Like an old man, who lived through the centuries and on whom time has left its mark. The Vatnajökull battles on against the streams of lava, which have burned a hole into his white robe, against global warming, and even against the melting of up to 900m thick of its ice crust. His huge arms are wrapped around this green like it wants to hold on to it forever. However it disrobes each and every spring time. Almost fearfully, we come nearer and nearer to Europe’s largest glacier. So big, so much ice, so many years … The low-loading truck has been following us. We are looking for the right area where we can position the sports car in the most perfect way. A dream of silver in front of icy drapes, lined with green; this is what we have been looking for. And, we have found it right here.
